Kindle Sales Blowout Review (or “How to Use Facebook Events to Generate 3,500+ Sales in One Day”)
Today my friend Bryan Cohen released his product — Kindle Sales Blowout: How to Sell 3,000 Books in One Day with Facebook Events.
I’ve known Bryan for awhile now (and have participated in two of his “March to a Best-Seller” Events.) So in this post, not only will I review the positives of his offer, but I’ll also briefly tell you why I recommend Kindle Sales Blowout.
Here are three reasons why it gets my “stamp of approval”:
1. Facebook Events Generate Actual Sales
The idea behind a Facebook Event is to gather together top authors who discount their books and cross-promote to their audiences. The end result is you generate a LOT of sales in 24-hour period. According to Bryan’s data, the last event generated 3,500 total book sales.
On a personal level, I’ve increased my own sales by participating in Bryan’s events.
On February 28th, 2014, my book “Writing Habit Mastery” was part of the first March to a Best-Seller event. It generated 683 total sales and had a 103% increase of royalties for the week.
On November 7th, 2014, my “Kindle Publishing Package” bundle was part of the March to a Best-Seller 2 event. It generated 284 total sales and had a 578% increase of royalties for the week.
As I discussed in Episode 56, sales events can have a dramatic impact on your royalties. By participating in a Facebook event, you will have a chance to increase sales in the lull between book launches.
2. You Build Relationships with Other Authors
No author should publish books in isolation. In fact, a great way to grow your brand is to partner with people in your market and find ways to support one another. It’s about cooperation, not competition.
By organizing a Facebook Event you can “get on the radar” of the leading authorities in your market and build relationships that will pay dividends for years to come.
For instance, in the last March to a Best-Seller event, Bryan gathered together top self-published authors like: Joanna Penn, Nick Stephenson, Johnny B. Truant, Sean Platt, Derek Murphy and Jim Kukral. Heck, even legendary self-published author J.A. Konrath showed up to answer a few questions:
Who knows who you can gather together if you buy Bryan’s Kindle Sales Blowout product and create a niche-specific Facebook Event.
3. More Readers and More Subscribers
The biggest complaint about organizing (or even participating in) a Facebook sales event is you have to discount your books. The reality is you have the potential to reach EVERY audience of the people who participate.
So, even if you don’t make that much on each sale, you still acquire a new reader–maybe even a new email subscriber. Both are important for growing your brand and selling more items from your book catalog.
